Grant Application

Any organization considering a grant application should first email a Letter of Inquiry to Program Officer, Sue Richardson. Her email address is SLSR28@yahoo.com . The letter should describe the organization's mission, the purpose of the request and the dollar amount of the proposed request. All Letters of Inquiry must be submitted between January 16th and February 1st (for the February application deadline) and between August 1st and August 17th (for the August application deadline). The Letter of Inquiry should be BRIEF with NO additional attachments. Please include your name/title/email address/telephone number and the address of the organization.

Proposal checklist: (PLEASE LIMIT MATERIALS SUBMITTED TO THE FOLLOWING)

Thirteen (13) copies of the complete grant application, each of those copies to include the applicable budget(s) as required.
You may recreate the application form for ease of completion, but we require that you limit your responses to the questions to 4 pages, with a minimum font of 12. We also require that you use BOTH sides of the paper i.e. side one is page 1 with page 2 on the flip side etc.
One (1) copy of your organization's 501(c)(3) tax determination letter from the IRS. Please do NOT send 13 copies of this letter, and please do not staple the tax letter to the grant application form.
One (1) copy of your organization’s most recent audited financial statement for all organizations requesting $40,000 or more.
