AREAS OF INTEREST
Funding is primarily for cultural; civic and community service; k-12 and higher education; environmental; health and human services; and religious initiatives.
The Foundation accepts requests for funding of program support, general operating support, capital funds and scholarships. The Foundation is currently not making grants for endowments or multi-year grants. We also do not make matching grants or challenge grants or fund proposals seeking seed funding.
The Noyes Foundation accepts applications only from organizations whose purposes have been determined by the IRS to be tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. All applicants are required to provide a copy of their tax determination letter from the IRS before a proposal may be considered for funding. If you have applied for determination from the IRS and have not received notification of approval, please do not submit a request until approval has been received unless it is through a sponsoring fiscal agent. The Foundation does not make grants to individuals.
Organizations may apply only one time in any calendar year.
The principle geographic region served by the Noyes Foundation is the greater Indianapolis area. Other areas of interest and geographic regions in which the Board has special knowledge and interest may also receive funding; however, the Board is currently not accepting unsolicited applications from organizations in other regions.
