About The Foundation

Nicholas H. Noyes (1883 - 1977) was the first comptroller of Eli Lilly and Company. In 1951, he and his wife, Marguerite Lilly Noyes, established a charitable foundation in memory of their son, Nicholas Noyes, Jr., who died tragically in 1939 at the age of 28.

Foundation assets in 2009 were approximately $32,000,000. Charitable grants made in 2009 totaled $1,807,550.
